Why choose WEGOMA?
The machine is designed for industrial processing of aluminum and steel profiles of significant size and weight. Structural profiles, assembled structures, curtain wall profiles and steel profiles are suitable for processing on this machine tool. The base is made of a welded structure, milled using high-precision machine tools after shot peening and painting. The thickness of the materials used for the base exceeds 14 millimeters to ensure straightness of the surface and avoid distortion problems during transportation and/or movement of the machinery. The base is raised from the ground by 12 adjustable steel feet to adapt to any flooring, equipped with rubber to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the ground. A mobile carriage made of welded steel tubes is placed on the base and linked together by multiple supports to ensure maximum rigidity and prevent bending of the upright even with heavy-duty work on steel or more resistant materials.
Clamping system
This clamp is designed to offer maximum versatility, allowing multiple fastening configurations. Additionally, it supports the insertion of counter-shapes to ensure a stable and precise fixation of profiles with different shapes.Thanks to its ultra-slim profile, this clamp enables exceptionally precise and high-performance clamping. The SZ500 work centre is a 4-axis interpolated machine tool with the ability to work on bars from -95° to +95°, allowing it to manage maximum profile sections of 430mm x 300mm in height in 4-axis mode.
The clamps of the SZ500 machining center have been designed for 5-axis machining and to have the minimum footprint for complex machining. The motorized version allows the independent movement of each vice by means of a brushless motor for the dynamic management of the machining. The following functions can also be managed using the motorized clamps option
- Dynamic repositioning
Dynamic repositioning allows the vises to be moved during the ISO cycle in progress without operator intervention . - Cut and separate pieces
The function usually used together with the multi-piece function, allows you to machine several pieces at the same time and to separate the pieces from each other to machine them in 5-axis mode. - Multi-piece handling
Multi-piece management allows you to manage lists of profiles that are also different from each other and optimize bar machining. The bars machined individually in the machine are managed appropriately to optimize tools and movements with an important advantage in terms of cycle time. - Sequential cutting management
Function usually dedicated to machining small parts in sequence. The vises in this mode act as a loader by advancing the bar step-by-step.
Tool Changer
The standard tool changer consists of 15 positions with a maximum load of 3kg per tool and a maximum insertable diameter of 140mm. The revolver system of the tool changer allows for a tool change that is always precise and fast through the synchronous system of the tool.
