ERMES is the latest generation in 4-axis profile machining and is designed for various manufacturing processes. Hence, ERMES is suitable for various industries.
Equipped with four automatic workpiece clamping units and a high-performance electric spindle, ERMES processes workpieces at any angle between -90 ° and + 90 ° thanks to its fourth axis of rotation. With an output of 7 kW and 24,000 rpm, the machining center easily copes with all manufacturing requirements. The entire machine is ergonomically and compactly designed and offers the operator easy access for loading and unloading. An 8-fold tool changer rounds off the equipment.
The successful model of our partner ITALMAC was equipped with the latest generation of software from camProx from Karlsruhe. It is software specially developed for profile machining with a fast graphical user interface for programming profiles and machining, 3D visualization, clamping unit optimization, STEP import and automatic tool selection, optimized work processes, import of external manufacturing data and much more.
