From the end of October to the beginning of November 2021, the first 5-axis profile machining center was delivered to our customer Metallbau Schalk GmbH in Hitzendorf, Austria. Schalk GmbH is a metal processing company with a focus on customer-oriented planning, production and assembly of products made of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Our high-performance profile machining center PEGASO is perfectly suited for these purposes: fully automatic control via CAMPROX, a main spindle of up to 16 kW, workpiece clamping with high clamping force, machining of profiles up to 640 mm high, 21-fold tool changer, a saw blade diameter of up to 450 mm and much more.
After detailed consultation in Italy, the PEGASO was transferred to the destination in Austria. Installation and commissioning were carried out on site by our team of experienced experts.
