WEGOMA History

Since 1970 WEGOMA ® stands for reliable, accurate and innovative machines and power tools for the woodworking and window industry.

1970

The company was founded by Walter Weiß in Pforzheim-Eutingen.

1972

Development of the first own double miter saw for profile processing.

1978

WEGOMA was one of the pioneers for machines in PVC window industry. Worldwide delivery of turn-key factories.

1984

First own welding cleaning line pushes the automatization in PVC window manufacturing.

1992

First fully automatic processing center Super Cut 2000 revolutionizes the PVC market.

2006

First mobile edge banding device set new standards for carpenters.




2013

Purchase of a new building in Unterreichenbach/Calw with over 7.000 m² of production, office and sales area.

2015

Introduction of the new developed profile machining centers for the aluminum industry. Extension of product range.

1971

WEGOMA starts to manufacture and sell power tools.

1974

Extension of the product range with belt sanding machines and power feeders.

1983

New building and relocation to Eisingen/Enzkreis.


1990

Set up of the new company building in Twinsburg/Ohio. Worldwide production and sales network.

1995

Foundation of a stand-alone enterprise in China.

2009

Development of the panel saw S400. The project was founded by the federal government department for economy and technology in Germany after a decision of the German Bundestag (Parliament).

2014

Takeover of the well-known window machine manufacturing company Max Striffler / STRIMA GmbH. Integration in our production line in Unterreichenbach, extension of our production depth through takeover of all the production machines.

Since the foundation WEGOMA stands for quality and the courage for innovation. According to our philosophy it is our target to sell the customer the perfect machine for his individual task.
